Privacy policy
Your battery information
stays on your phone.
This policy explains how Battery, Without the Anxiety handles screenshots, answers, reports, notifications and feedback. The short version: the app requires no account, does not upload battery screenshots to our servers and includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
1. What the app processes on-device
Battery screenshots you choose are analysed on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition. The app does not keep the original image by default, and every recognised number still requires your confirmation.
2. What is stored locally
Your answers, explanation preferences, latest report and one observation cycle you choose to begin are stored on the current device. You can delete or reset them in the app. Deleting the app also removes its local data.
3. Notifications
The app asks for notification permission only if you start a seven-day observation and choose a reminder. The reminder is created locally, is never used for advertising and declining permission does not affect other features.
4. Feedback you choose to send
The app may open a public Tencent survey or your Mail app so you can contact Chloe. Both require your action and confirmation. The survey does not require your name, phone number, age or education. Please do not include sensitive personal information. Tencent Survey and your mail provider process submitted information under their own policies.
5. What we do not do
- We do not create user accounts or operate a user-data server.
- We do not use advertising SDKs or sell personal information.
- We do not use private APIs to read the iPhone battery health database.
- We do not use battery health, cycle counts or questionnaire answers for profiling or targeted advertising.
6. App Store information from Apple
Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store and diagnostic information. Apple collects and processes that information under its own terms and privacy policy. The app adds no third-party analytics tools.
